Being an ECA
What is an ECA?
An eCommerce Affiliate
If you don’t have a blog already I recommend getting one. If you can get your own domain and install wordpress I recommend doing that. However, if you cannot afford that you can settle for one of the free ones online. Add posts to it regularly and keep it updated with valuable information. One of the keys is to add value to what you bring.
You can categorize each marketing genre on your blog so you can do add posts for PSA’s in one category, ECA’s in another category and so forth. Keep it organized and easy to navigate.
If you prefer having a website you can do that instead. The same guidelines apply. Keep it updated and relevant. Use photos of products and things like that. Not too many and not too little. You want to catch the eye of your audience and capture their interest.
Use the ECA banners provided by SFI on your site. Explain how it will benefit the reader.
You can also use gift cards. These are one of the easiest ways to bring people to Tripleclicks. Who can refuse a free gift card? When they register they will see all the things they can buy and they will receive invitations from SFI to upgrade to affiliate.
Because we are here to earn money, we need to sell products. To do that we need customers.
You can place the link to your ECA portal on your website. Use the banners SFI provides also. Remember to key code them so you know where your customers are coming from. Even if you bring a PRM (Personally Referred Member) and they don’t buy from you, as long as they buy on Tripleclicks you still earn money. You can also separate this, invite PRM’s on one area of your site and then on another area focus on your ECA store.
The beauty of SFI is that we are not charged money every month for being an ECA like some sites do when you have an online store with them. You have the power of the internet at your finger tips and you can utilize all the tools that SFI provides.
To your success!
What are some daily marketing habits I can implement to grow my TripleClicks (ECA) business?
I love this question because I was an ECA and I believe I was on of the best. I did market higher ticket items so these products sell a bit slower but for me they are the most profitable. Really growing your ECA means that you need to have a central product theme, broad range of products in that theme, and excellent customer service.
I don’t believe you can effectively do all products like a larger discount store. The cash outlay need to do this is much higher and you are probably going to have more losers than winners when it comes to product categories. So what I did was to build my ECA around one hot product theme like electronics. Then you need to offer a broad range of products in that category. Some low range, mid range and higher products work great when they are all in the same category. For example, a Lenovo laptop is going to be more expensive than a Dell. So I would offer a power Dell laptop at a considerably lower price point than the Lenovo. But you might think I wouldn’t sell the Lenovo. Actually the opposite is true because price is not the only consideration in the buying process. If the prospect is looking for a status symbol in a notebook then a Lenovo is just what they are going to buy or even an Apple which cost even more! But for the personal more concerned about functionality and practically, the Dell may be a good choice because the prospect would save 100s of dollars over the Apple. Purchases are a matter of preference more than price. It’s difficult to wrap your mind around this sometimes as the more expensive items cost more to stock. Profit margin has to balance with customer needs and that’s how you sell anything.
As the saying is “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” customer experience is the same way. Every ECA should set out to provide the best customer experience possible but not at the expense of the business. Speedy delivery, excellent feedback, no hassle returns policy, and variety all play a major role in customer experience. However, the rating is in the power of the customer. Do all you can to get a favorable rating. It will only serve to better your customer service skills. I lost money on a few items to save the customer service experience. Image and reputation matters. So once they is lost know that you might as well close the ECA! Be courteous, polite, and available. Then after all of that sometimes you will get an unfavorable rating! Don’t let that bother you as long as you did everything you could do.
Finally, having a subdomain has some advantages. That is you benefit from all the top level domain traffic that you don’t have to pay for. So merely being on TripleClicks will bring traffic to your ECA (hint! ) Then if you want to use all of the marketing tools available to create custom banners to sell products and attract members that’s all the better. Definitely promote your own ECA and maximize every opportunity to share on social networks. Keep accurate records and get your own domain so that you can promote your own brand – YOU! To recap:
1. High demand products centered on a theme.
2. Excellent customer service – returns policy, feedback, warranty, etc.
3. Do your own marketing as well as get your own domain.
1. Develop and reach out so as to make as many connections as possible with SFI affiliates. The more connections you have the more people who receive your weekly ECA newsletter.
2. Send out a weekly newsletter from your ECA back office. Promote new products listed. Promote bottom price point products for review. SFI Affiliates are always looking for new products to try inexpensively and then receive the 25 AVP for the review.
3. Provide tools that affiliates can use to promote your products. I make Banner ads, email ads and email campaigns that an SFI affiliate can use to easily promote my products. For example I have built an email Campaign that an SFI affiliate can use in conjunction with the $12.00 gift card. When a person requests the gift card they will in turn receive a series of emails on my ECA products. These emails will be customized to the SFI ID of the affiliate promoting my products, so that affiliate gets commissions for every sale.
4. Constantly teach in your newsletter how an affiliate can make money promoting your product and how he can attract buyers to your products.
Affiliates marketing my products is the real power of SFI. Yet most ECAs are just trying to sell their products to affiliates instead of training this massive sales force.
In order for your new home business with SFI and TripleClicks continue to grow and expand in team size and commissions you are going to need to develop some good business producing habits.
One of the first habits you need to develop is logging in every day at a specific time. The reason I state a specific time is because we humans are creatures of habit and once we form a habit it is hard for us to break it. Being set at a specific time will also help your family members (if any) know that it is time to leave you alone because of your work.
Once you have the habit of logging in daily you will easily form the habit of working your “To-Dos” without fail. This would also include visiting the forum, reading ASK SC questions and answers and working with your teammates.
To establish a business that is continually growing you can easily set a standing order for a unit of S-Builder along with some PSAs to go. If you are good at advertising for new sign-ups then you would want to be advertising daily for your new affiliates.
You need to develop the habit of dropping whatever you are doing in order to help your teammates as soon as possible and as much as possible. Your teammates are very important to the growth of your business. If you are ignoring your down-lines your business will not go very far. Remember that your teammate’s success is your success.
There are 6 income streams with SFI and TripleClicks you can maintain constant growth in any and all of them by making solid unbreakable habits out of the activities needed to succeed in each one of the.
Now; do you know how to make something a habit? It is much easier that most people think. All you need to do is force yourself to do the same thing at the same time for 14 to 21 days. Once you have done that it becomes a habit for you and when you do not feel like doing the needed work your business building habits that you took the time to make will kick in and you will get it done anyway.
Bad habits are just as easy to develop; so as you are building your business habits make sure you are developing “good” habits – it is easy to get lost messing around surfing the net when you need to be placing ads or writing a teammate a letter.
Building and maintaining good habits will help you to:
• Be consistent
• Be productive
• Stay motivated
• Consistently keep growing and expanding.
From Strong Future Intentional Ask SC:
“In building relationships with your team members communication is the key. Your ability to communicate comes from experience, and experience can be an effective teacher.
The fact that you’re able to communicate what’s in your mind and asks this important question means that you can learn to write well and communicate with your team members effectively.
How to learn to write well and improve your communication skills in written form?
- Effective writing is not a gift that you’re born with; it’s a skill that you need to cultivate.
Before you start writing, consider what you want to say. Generally most people start working out their thoughts as they’re writing, which makes their writing less structured, meandering, and repetitive. Ask yourself this question: What should my audience know or think after reading this email/message? If the answer isn’t immediately clear, you’re moving too quickly. You need to step back and spend more time collecting your thoughts.
- Be direct to the point.
Make your point right up front. Most people find that the writing style and structure they developed in school doesn’t work as well in the business world. Postponing the message that you want to convey in the middle part of your writing will make your communication engagement with your audience unclear and ineffective. By concisely presenting your main idea first, you save your reader time and sharpen your argument before diving into the bulk of your writing.
- Avoid jargon.
Be selective in choosing words in consideration to your audience. As the business communicator, you must focus on the words you use and how you use them. Short, simple sentences, in themselves composed of words, also communicate a business style. In your previous English classes you may have learned to write eloquently, but in a business context, your goal is clear, direct communication. One strategy to achieve this goal is to write with the same words and phrases you use when you talk. However, since written communication lacks the immediate feedback that is present in an oral conversation, you need to choose words and phrases even more carefully to promote accuracy, clarity, and understanding.
- Always read what you write.
Consider putting your shoes in your reader’s shoes and ask the following questions: “Is my point clear and well structured? Are the sentences straightforward and concise?”
If you are writing ad copy, the goal is to motivate consumers to make a purchase decision. In each case, you are writing to a specific purpose, and a great place to start when considering what to write is to answer the following question: what are the readers’ expectations?
Reading is one step many writers point to as an integral step in learning to write effectively. If you want to write effectively in business, you need to read business-related documents. These can include letters, reports, business proposals, and business plans. You may find these where you work or in your school’s writing center, business department, or library; there are also many web sites that provide sample business documents of all kinds. Your reading should also include publications in the industry where you work.
You can also gain an advantage by reading publications in fields other than your chosen one; often reading outside your niche can enhance your versatility and help you learn how other people express similar concepts. Finally, don’t neglect general media like the business section of your local newspaper, and national publications like the Wall Street Journal. Reading is one of the most useful lifelong habits you can practice to boost your business communication skills.
- Allocate time to practice everyday.
Learning to write well takes time and your writing skills will improve as you practice everyday. Go to your local library and look for well written materials (books, magazines, etc.) to read everyday. When you read, be attentive to the word choice, sentence structure and flow. Most importantly, build time into your schedule for editing and revising. Writing and reworking your own writing is where the change happens, and it’s not quick. The time is well spent because good writers distinguish themselves on the job.
To summarize, here are the list of do’s and don’ts:
- Plan out what you will say to make your writing more direct and effective.
- Use words sparingly and keep sentences short and to the point.
- Avoid jargon and fancy words. Strive for clarity instead.
- Argue that you simply can’t write. Anyone can become a better writer with practice.
- Pretend that your first draft is perfect, or even passable. Every document can be improved.
- Bury your argument. Present your main idea as soon as possible. “

What are the most effective ways to communicate with your downline to get results?
Category: Team building
“Hello, this is a good and important question! I’ve learned that my affiliates are much more successful when I communicate with them, so here’s what I do…First, I have a welcome letter set up that new affiliates read and gain V.P. for. Almost all new affiliates will read this, so the quality and content are very important. You can find and set up yours here: https://www.sfimg.com/ViewMyWelcomeLetterSecond, I set up an email service with Mail Chimp that automatically emails my PSA’s everyday for the first ten days. I created ten emails that walk them through getting Fast-Track qualified and reminding them to complete their Launchpad training for the day. I also invite them to connect with me on Facebook and Skype so that I am more available to them. After the first ten days, if they are active and completing the steps, I continue to work with them, offering them more personalized training (some affiliates are more advanced than others). If they are not active, I do not email them anymore from here.Third, I use the genealogy mailer once per week at: https://www.sfimg.com/Reports/Genealogy there’s a link on the right side that says “Send an e-mail/TeamMail to…” In this email, I update everyone on who the top five on the team are, and I have monthly contests for those who get the most V.P. I also reward anyone who makes EA with a TC Gift Certificate. Finally, I use the chat feature within SFI when I am logged in, if I see an affiliate online I will reach out to them and say hello, offer help, etc.I hope this serves you and that you have an amazing experience with SFI!!”————————————-
How does SFI compare to other online businesses?
This Affiliate Apples to Apples:
“When comparing one on-line business with another we need to compare “apples with apples” – in other words there must be other marketing companies like SFI to compare them in a fair way.
One of the problems you will find right away is that most other on-line marketing companies charge a monthly fee. Some companies do this through what they call a “re-sellers fee” you pay a fee each month in order to get commissions when you sell their services or products.
*SFI does not have a monthly service or resellers free
Another method some marketing companies levy a monthly fee is a “forced” Standing Order of product. If you do not pay for an order you forfeit all commissions and in some cases if you stop the forced SO you are considered as quitting the business so you lose your affiliate-ship with them.
*SFI does not have a forced standing order.
Many of the on-line marketing companies will charge “rental” fees for marketing aids like banners, landing pages (sign up web pages). One company I was with you had to buy the sign-up forms (paper forms) to enroll someone, even if you enrolled someone on line you had to fill out a paper form and mail it into the company.
*With SFI most of our marketing aids are free – there are no “paper sign up forms” to purchase”
*The use of the many “power tools” and communication systems that SFI gives us free is second to none.
I could make a comparison report out of this that would take several pages showing the difference between other marketing companies and SFI. But in reality SFI is a unique company and there is no other on-line marketing company like it. ”
This Affiliate says:
“SFI, first and foremost has stood the test of time, and I don’t know of any company that signs up as many people in one day as SFI does.
SFI never charges anything…you get access to world class training on internet marketing for FREE! I have been in Internet Marketing for over 7 years now and confess that I have paid $2000 for courses that teach what you can learn here for free. You just cannot put a price on the value received here.
Plus, I build my team by playing games and bidding on auctions…check out my forum post here describing how I have a team of 160 affiliates in 30 days by playing games at TripleClicks: https://www.sfimg.com/forum/thread?post_id=235273#post-235273″
Another Affiliate Answers:
“You’ve asked an interesting question here and I suppose I’m one of the ones best qualified to answer because I’ve seen and often participated in just about all the others. SFI has them all beat by a country mile and that’s why I’ve pulled out of just about everything else to devote my efforts completely with SFI. Some say ‘don’t put all your eggs in one basket’ but I see SFI as a basket where I can place a lot of eggs without much worry.
“How does SFI compare to other online businesses?”
Many online business are flash in a pan. They show up and make a splash on the launch and then they often seem to fade into obscurity. SFI has stood the test of time on the web by being a growing concern for 17 years. I think that online years compare to bricks and mortar years nearly like dog years relate to human ones and 17×7 over a century.
Online business also tend to concentrate on only one thing at a time. The exceptions like Google, Yahoo and SFI have become diverse because they only added new services after the other(s) were doing well. Now SFI is a number of excellent goodies like pricebenders, tripleclicks, eager zebra, PPA, and ECA rolled together. Add to that the vast assortment of commissionable items and you have a program that you can do almost anything and everything with.
So to answer your question in one final sentence I would have to say – “No other business can compare online to SFI because SFI beats them all the rest, hands down”.”

“Since I have signed up for – and been taken for a ride by – many online businesses, I would say that there is almost no comparison.
There are some good programs out there, please don’t get me wrong. Some cost money and some don’t. Some are easier to succeed at and other aren’t.SFI is unique in it’s own way. It’s really about the only program that I’ve run across that doesn’t require you to buy something or pay a monthly fee.
SFI is constantly making changes and upgrades to it’s multiple programs – and gives them to us for free! It really is amazing to me when I see other affiliates who say “why can’t we have this or that” when in actuality we are already getting an abundance of things we need to succeed.
This includes training, marketing, web hosting, products, games and more. We even get to share the profits. The CEO is more involved in all aspects of the program than I have ever seen and the Support system is outstanding.
I don’t know of any other program on the entire internet that even comes close to giving it’s affiliates so much and I count myself blessed.”
Another Affiliate Gives very good answer from experience:
“To answer your question, I’m going to present the uniqueness of SFI so that you can clearly see the big difference when comparing to other online businesses.
I wasn’t very much active when I first joined SFI. I didn’t understand the business concept and with very little knowledge about the Internet, I have no idea how to sponsor. I didn’t know what I was getting into when I joined. I was attracted with the ad “How to earn a six figure income?” I immediately signed up, because it was free. I remained inactive for several years; nevertheless I maintain my EA status. I was just logging in from time to time to check on the latest SFI news. Meanwhile I have joined other online businesses. In my experience, all of those online businesses require membership fees and you have to buy different kinds of product packages for you to promote online. That didn’t work out for me. I kept logging in once in a while at SFI and I saw gradual but significant changes with the creation of TripleClicks. That made me curious to find out more until I found myself consistently logging in at the SFI affiliate center.
Now in my 13th year with SFI, I’m well-pleased and honored to share the following uniqueness of SFI:
- SFI stand above other online businesses in regards to network marketing in a true sense.
Network marketing is very definitely a relationship business. In business sales and revenue matters. Money make the world turn and in order to get money, you need sales. However, sales is not everything. Sales may just go that far but for relationship, it goes a long, long way.
Through my experience with SFI, I have learned that relationship building is all about quality and not quantity. In my dealings with my team members, I always put emphasis on providing value, to help others more than just the ‘make money online’ part. SFI provides the platform to achieve building relationship that goes a long, long way.
This is a unique experience for me which I couldn’t find from other online businesses. Most of the business opportunities out there are focus only on making money.
- Build friendship through SFI Forum
I have seen often times when someone announces that he/she is leaving SFI for whatever reason, most of us would say don’t go. Most of us experience and feel a sense of belonging here in SFI. A sense of belonging increases meaningfulness of life. It’s very encouraging to have a firsthand experience of the friendliness of affiliates helping others in their challenges with business and life.
- Ask SC provides questions and answers about building your SFI business. SFI business owners share their experiences providing important tips to the SFI community.
- Other communication tools such as a2a and SFIM chat further encourage all SFI business owners to connect and share their expertise. We can choose and add friends through these unique tools to share our knowledge and also to edify one another.
- We can also have fun while doing our business through the EZ games.
Our SFI President and CEO Mr. Gery Carson is a pioneer in putting together real home business opportunity for people from all spectrum of life and building long lasting relationship in SFI community worldwide. This is unprecedented.
Can you find from other online businesses that offer everything you need to drive your business to success? With SFI you control your pace of growing your business. I’m very glad today that despite facing insurmountable challenges, I didn’t give up. ”
Another Affiliate Answers Question:
“Good question. Why we need to join only SFI and not any other online business? The basic reason is SFI is a unique business and stands apart from other online businesses in many ways.
There are many differences, let me enumerate them below:
1. The SFI (Strong Future International) business is one among the oldest surviving business. It started in 1998 with one product. Now it sells about 80,000+ products online.
2. Most of the online businesses sell their own products but do not allow you to sell your products. SFI sells its product on TripleClicks.com and also allow you sell your own products via TripleCLicks and ECA (e-Commerce Associate Program).
3. SFI offers you 45% Direct Commissions on your sales and sales by your personally sponsored affiliates which is among the highest in the world.
4. SFI is a Legacy Income based that means you can transfer it to your family member after building it up at any time. This provision is generally not permitted in other online programs.
5. Most of the online programs vanish or change to another business whereas SFI been online for the last 17 years and will continue to be always online.
6. Most of the online businesses pay you for your work but SFI pays you to many generations of your downline depending upon your Leadership Rank.
7. The best support system is available to all SFI affiliate through Forum and Support Tickets 24x7x365 days which is unseen in other online businesses. ”
Welcome To Our Team
Gerald & Barbara
Hi, my name is Gerald, and the lovely lady is Barbara and we’ve been SFI affiliates for over 6 months.
I’m with SFI because they’re the real deal. For nearly two decades now they’ve been providing anyone who’s willing to work a real way to earn extra income as an Internet marketer…from the comfort of their home.
One of the things I really love about SFI is that there’s never any purchase or sales requirements. Most companies have to have such requirements…or there would be no sales. But with SFI, there’s so much good stuff going on that sales, success, and commissions just flow naturally! And because SFI provides such outstanding training and tools, it doesn’t matter if you have any experience in marketing or not. You simply need to plug in to their proven system and go to work. More
Let your affiliates know that it is important to grasp all VP within their reach because they play important role in their businesses; either in determining their ranks or/and their shares in the TC Executive Pool. This is as important as little drops of water, so they may be surprised as to the negative effect the absence of 1 VP is at the end of the month and ignoring them will be at their own peril.
Again, get your affiliates to understand that they should see the daily action VP for its total monthly contribution of about 372 VP which is much as far as this business is concerned, instead of viewing it from the stand point of just 12 VP. Unless you have other credible sources of earning other action VP otherwise, it could portend a business set back.
Another very important reason to get your affiliates to understand the importance is that they also provide a credible source of knowledge. This is because the To-Do-List contains very useful information on sponsoring, TC sales and ECA recruitment, so by not just clicking away the point but learning by reading some of the information contained therein is to their advantage too.
Let them also know that grabbing the daily action VP is like a preparatory or a warm up phase to opening and start working on their businesses on a daily basis, even if they think they don’t need the VP. Getting used to doing the daily action will be an impetus to visit their SFI businesses on a daily basis in order to do one or two things for the benefit of business.
In addition, make them understand that if they do not earn at least 10 VP daily, then they stand to lose their Daily Streak Badge, which is very important for duplication purposes. Furthermore, they will also miss out of the prestigious E365 Finalist draw (for those still in it) where they will be in the run to win various prizes, if they don’t earn at least 10 VP daily.
As you can see, tell your affiliates that they have nothing to lose by taking their daily action points seriously, because they provide some additional benefits.”
